The Dufferin Farm Tour returned as a virtual event in 2021 and we were excited to continue learning and sharing through our interactions with stakeholders in the agricultural sector. Videos are such a compelling medium to explore farming. Seasons take months to unfold and it can take years to witness and experience the things that we capture. We are honoured to bring these stories to growing audiences.

This project evolved from a simple recognition of the need to leverage video during the COVID-19 pandemic all the way to two 20 minute documentaries featuring numerous farms spanning the diversity of food production in Dufferin County, Ontario.

We use big, heavy L-series telephoto lenses in the field for soft backgrounds and dramatic closeups.
Short versions from each participating farm were edited to extend the Dufferin Farm Tour’s social media campaign reach and build audiences leading up to the film’s release.
