We love supporting local businesses to tell their story in video and photography. Our approach involves hearing from as many passionate stakeholders as possible and distilling their contributions down to a watchable 3 minute video. Flaunt Salon recently moved into a bigger location and expanded their services to include spa treatments so we spent the day interviewing their team and filming every aspect of the salon business. The result is a colourful, upbeat production that gives viewers a detailed look at the service they can expect from the Flaunt Salon team.
Flaunt’s new location is a spacious upgrade, but it can still be a challenge for a video production team to squeeze into the spa. Fortunately we have invested in equipment that boasts a small footprint while still providing top quality results. Battery powered lights and Canon’s flagship DSLR let us fit into just about any space while shooting. The camera’s high sensitivity and dynamic range allow us to get beautiful b-roll in relatively low light and the Canon 16-35mm f2.8 L series lens has a wide field of view for working indoors – perfect for the salon and spa.
