We recently worked with Niagara Health to highlight the success of their campaign to raise funds for the new South Niagara hospital site. The new modern, facility will offer a full scope of hospital services, including emergency, critical care, diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical services, as well as Centres of Excellence in complex care, wellness in aging, and stroke. Moreover, the LEED Silver-certified facility is working towards being the first WELL-certified hospital in Canada, incorporating design elements that promote health and well-being for everyone who uses it. Healthcare and hospital video production

A view from behind the camera during production. We had one Canon EOS Cinema camera on a tripod with another on motorized rails for a slow moving wide angle. We’re proud of the work we do – all of our clients have such important stories to tell. To learn more about the work we do in the healthcare sector click here.

People in Niagara deserve the highest quality health care. I very much look forward to the positive changes that will come with this new hospital and what it will bring to the region. Our donors and community have come together to help shape the new South Niagara site for our It’s Our Future campaign. They are ensuring that it will be well equipped for all the residents of the Niagara region. The new hospital site will be 12 storeys high and will have 469 beds, which is significantly more than what we currently have on a regional basis. The South Niagara site is really going to transform the way we deliver care in South Niagara. The new site will provide a full scope of acute care and emergency hospital services and as well it will feature Centres of Excellence in Complex Care, in Wellness in Aging and in Stroke. The site will have state of the art infection control and prevention measures, including 100% private rooms. The hospital is designed to be adaptable and flexible to our ever changing environment. Our hospital was built in 1958. It’s time that we take care of our residents. This new facility will not only allow us to provide the highest quality care for residents of Niagara, but it will also allow us to attract and retain the very best and very brightest health care professionals to serve our community. It’s going to allow us to deliver care using the newest advances in medicine, using the most up to date technology and equipment. We’re working to be the first WELL-certified hospital in Canada. The hospital is being designed and planned to include holistic elements like natural lighting, nutrition and water to promote health and wellbeing for our patients, our staff and our visitors. The site will have an Indigenous healing space and garden that was co-designed with our Indigenous partners. Harry Oakes and myself were honored to take on capital campaign co-chairs because we understand how important this is to our community. This will be a legacy that we’ll want to be a part of. This hospital is going to serve everybody, but it’s going to have a special focus for seniors because we have one of the oldest populations in the province. Niagara is a growing community and in fact, aging at a greater rate than the rest of the province. It is very important that everybody in that region receive the highest quality care in the best state of the art facilities. The It’s Our Future campaign has had so many donors and community members step up already. They have a shared vision of what we need for the South Niagara site, and it’s really incredible that they have shown their leadership in the community to start this campaign for us.
